About Sarah

Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Sports Nutrition from Carroll University, but her true passion has always been dance. A lifelong performer, this midwestern girl began dancing at age 3 and trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and other performing arts before discovering ballroom dancing at age 13—a moment that changed her life. She went on to become a decorated ballroom competitor, earning several U.S. National Titles and traveling the world through dance.

In 2014, Sarah and her husband Maks took over Dynasty Dance Clubs, where she combines her expertise in movement, education, and business to create life-changing programs for all ages and abilities. Her belief is simple but powerful: anyone can dance—and everyone should.

As the founder of the Dynasty Stars Program, Sarah created an inclusive ballroom dance program specifically for individuals with disabilities, including those with autism, Down syndrome, epilepsy, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and more. Her classes are built around the understanding that ballroom dancing is uniquely therapeutic—combining music, memorization, rhythm, physical movement, and social interaction. Dancing with a partner requires eye contact, body awareness, timing, and nonverbal communication, all of which stimulate the brain and build neurological pathways. For individuals with cognitive or developmental differences, this structure provides a safe, repeatable, and joyful way to grow essential life skills.

Sarah is particularly passionate about providing dance as an extracurricular activity for kids. In a world of screens and overstimulation, ballroom offers a holistic outlet—physically engaging, mentally challenging, and socially enriching. Children in her programs learn focus, teamwork, and discipline while building confidence and emotional resilience. Being part of a dance class or performance team gives them a sense of belonging, a chance to express themselves, and a safe space to shine.

Sarah's mission is to empower every student to believe in themselves, find great mentors, and never let any diagnosis or limitation define what they can achieve. Whether for therapy, confidence, fitness, friendship—or all of the above—she believes that the dance floor can change lives.
